The annual DKMF steak dinner fundraiser at The Birdseye in New London, CT was, as always, a family friendly event. This year’s event included live music by Ghost Child and a 50/50 drawing. This event was another success with family, friends and supporters.

The 4th Annual DK5K was hosted in person at Ocean Beach, as well as virtually from 5/9-5/16 to accommodate participants far and wide. We had a great turnout and were blessed with nice weather finally (THANK YOU DYLAN!)

The DKMF Yardsale held in Waterford, CT was a huge success. All items sold were donated by the community and 100% of the proceeds from the event went directly to the foundation.

Due to ongoing concerns about the current outbreak of Coronavirus, DKMF hosted the 3rd Annual DK5K VIRTUALLY! Because our members, participants, sponsors and donors health is important to us, we chose to host the DK5K in an innovative way to continue to carry on Dylan’s legacy by bringing the community together with a new experience.
The current health situation required DKMF to create a new DK5K format that delivered the full experience of participating in the event, whether you walked or ran, and whether you are near or far.
What is a virtual race? A virtual race allows athletes to race, run or walk in their own neighborhood, on a trail or even on a treadmill, at a time they select and still be recognized for their accomplishment.
The 3rd Annual DK5K was a virtual race on your terms, your turf and your pace! Run (or walk) the predetermined distance as a group or by yourself, whenever and wherever you’d like. Each race package contains a race bib, a DKMF bracelet, and a DKMF magnet, plus we have truly awesome medals for top finishers, as well as some additional fun categories. By participating in this event, 100% of your registration was donated to The Dylan Konakowitz Memorial Foundation!

Join us for Franco’s Comedy for a Cause at Ocean Beach. Tickets are $25 per person in advance, $30 at the door, you can purchase a table that seats 10 for $225 (that’s ONE free ticket if you purchase a table). In addition to the comedy show there will be a cash bar and basket drawings! Perfect date night out. Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite, email info@dk-mf.org, text or call (860) 495-DKMF (3563) for tickets.

Waterford Youth Services thoughtfully gave their annual legacy gift in honor of Dylan to 100 children who partake in the holiday program for children in need.
